Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate challenge of all 3 lines of defense under CF&Os' RCSA and Control Assessment ratings to ensure appropriate measurement approach and rationale has been employed
- Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance risk assessment methodologies and integrate risk management strategies into business operations.
- Lead and mentor a team of risk professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance.
- Conduct scenario analysis by working with stakeholders to develop and quantify scenarios measuring tail risks used for stress testing and capital calculations
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify emerging risks and recommend strategies to mitigate potential impacts on the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational risk management (or relevant divisions/business units) within the financial services industry.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing operational risk frameworks and programs.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines related to operational risk management.
