I'm currently working with a top multinational investment bank that is looking to continue growing out their internal audit team by bringing on a VP of Markets. This bank is known as major global player in the capital markets space with a strong reputation for developing talent within risk management and audit.
In this role, you'll be responsible for serving as an Auditor in Charge on audits across the sales and trading space in a number of asset classes. The exposure is broad as you'll also be exposed to business units adjacent to the front office including Market Risk, Product Control, and Compliance. You'll be expected to own the whole audit life cycle, lead and mentor teams of junior analyst, and manage and develop stakeholder relationships. It's imperative to the group that the person taking on the role is resourceful and can work autonomously. Responsibilities:
Manage the whole audit life cycle for front office audits.
Lead, oversee, and mentor teams of junior audit analyst.
Develop and manage stakeholder relationships with business leads and senior management.
Influence business leaders on potential issues and problems found during audits.
Requirements:
5-9 years of audit experience at a top bank or financial services institutions.
Working knowledge of the capital markets, market risk, liquidity, or compliance space pertaining to trading.
Ability to communicate well in written and oral formats.
Strong interpersonal skills to influence and interact with stakeholders and team members.
