A leading life insurance company is looking to add a VP, Actuarial Model Validation to their team. You will be responsible for leading and performing model validation activities for all actuarial and insurance models. Please apply if interested in learning more!
Responsibilities:
- Lead validation, annual review, ongoing monitoring, findings management and model use approvals for all actuarial and insurance models
- Report directly to the Head of Model Risk Management
- Manage a team to test and evaluate models
- Subject matter expert in Insurance and Actuarial Modeling
Qualifications:
- ASA or FSA designation
- Proven track record with a minimum of eight years of experience
- Experience with actuarial software (Prophet, GGY AXIS, MG-ALFA, etc.)
- Experience leading a team
