Title: Vice President of Origination
Company Summary: We are currently partnered with a lower middle market M&A Advisory firm looking to add on talent at the Vice President level to their Deal Sourcing team. This candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership to gain hands on learning and development while managing a team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of business development personnel.
- Produce a high volume of outbound sales touches such as phone calls and email prospecting to specific Companies and/or their Private Equity owners.
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan that will extend the company's reach.
- Conduct reviews and mentor the sales team to enhance performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of investment banking, business development, corporate development or related financial institutions experience highly preferred professional sales and marketing experience required (professional services industry experience highly preferred).
- Knowledge of M&A/Private Equity, and Fund Formation is a plus.
- MBA or Bachelors in Finance, Economics, Business or related fields.
- Experience managing a team is required.
