The manager will lead a regional team of underwriters within the commercial and agricultural insurance sector. Within this position, the manager will have the opportunity to lead the underwriting team, build agency relationships, and drive new business.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of underwriters, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Review and analyze commercial insurance applications, financial statements, and other relevant documents to assess risk and determine coverage eligibility.
- Collaborate with brokers, agents, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and clarify any discrepancies in applications.
- Apply underwriting guidelines and company policies to evaluate the risk potential of each application and determine appropriate terms, conditions, and premium rates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications or designations (e.g., CPCU, AU) are a plus.
- 5+ years of underwriting experience
- Strong understanding of insurance principles, risk assessment, and underwriting guidelines.
