Selby Jennings are working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced UK Fundraiser to join a well-established fund manager. Our client is looking to set up a UK based distribution team and is seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to take the lead on building a portfolio of clients in the UK. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving fundraising targets and will have a strong network of investors in the private markets.

Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a fundraising strategy for the UK institutional market across pension funds, sovereign wealth funds and insurance companies
* Identify new fundraising opportunities and develop new business leads as well as maintaining relationship with existing and prospective investors
* Work closely with the CEO and other senior members of the team to achieve fundraising targets
* Provide regular reports on fundraising activity and performance
Skills
* 7+ years of experience in fundraising
* Proven track record of raising capital across the UK institutional market
* Strong network of institutional investors in the private markets, private debt favourable
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong business development skills
