A tech-driven high frequency trading firm is looking to bring on a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test in Chicago, that will serve as the subject-matter expert in automated testing for web-based trading tools.
Scope of Work:
- Perform automated testing of web-based front end tools for proprietary trading platforms
- Develop and maintain testing framework to automate GUI testing
- Work closely with developers to determine testing priorities and develop comprehensive test cases
- Test the upgrade process for new versions of client software, ensuring smooth transitions
- Provide support and guidance to other QA engineers who are conducting GUI automation testing for similar applications
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6+ years of automation testing of front end platforms
- 4+ Years of script development experience with JavaScript
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Experience supporting trading systems and/or trading applications
