About The Job
We are working with one of the largest Asset Managers in Europe with Eur800bn in assets. Our client is looking to on-board an experienced Compliance Officer to come and join its business in Luxembourg.
Responsibilities
Located in the heart of Luxembourg city, you will be in charge of the Compliance control framework (execution of the compliance monitoring plan, oversee the compliance controls and AML arrangements, keep up to date and reviewing the Company's policies and procedures), you will advise and promote the Compliance culture within the business (guide and advise the senior management, coordinate and implement training program for employees), you will also be in charge of fund's and company's compliance (by assessing the compliance aspects of the product approval and review process, by overseeing the Investment compliance activity, you will lead regulatory changes projects and coordinate the regulatory watch).
Preferred Qualifications
- University degree in a relevant field
- 5 year's proven experience working in the fund industry within the Compliance function
- Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework applicable (UCITS and AIFMD)
- Fluency in English, French or German would be considered an asset
