A leading Medical Sciences and Technology firm based in Chicago is looking to hire a Senior IT Auditor. The firm is a fortune 500 and has multiple lines of business, including Medical Devices, Diagnostics, R&D, Device Procurement, and more.
What's unique about this opportunity is that the Audit group is a completely rotational program, consisting of a 2-year rotation to get an expert understanding of the business operations. After completing the rotation, you get the opportunity to move out of audit and into a more business-facing role. This is an essential part of the firm's culture promoting organic growth and this is one of the ways they get future leaders into their internal pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Information Systems audits for the firm's international and domestic branches
- Participate in the scoping, planning, and fieldwork of audits
- Collaborate with other Internal Audit teams, senior management, and stakeholders
- Prepare credible and comprehensive audit reports and documentation, and present findings and recommendations for improvements to senior management
- Identify and track trends in risk exposure and control gaps within IT processes
- Assessing IT security and controls
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of Public Accounting/Consulting experience covering Information Systems Audits (ITGCs & ITACs) or information security assessments/controls
- Strong communication skills
- 30-50% travel to International and Domestic Locations required????
- Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, etc. are preferred
- Experience with ERP systems audits ideal
