A trade services provider with an established presence in the international financial and commodities markets is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their growing team. You will gain exposure to risk and governance functions across all businesses in the Group, with an initial focus on the Trade Services business.
Responsibilities:
- Provision of second-line governance oversight
- Management of operational, market, regulatory, and other risks within the business
- Collaboration with stakeholders to maintain end-to-end process flow
- Develop, implement, and maintain risk management and control framework
- Perform risk assessments for trade structures and coordinate with stakeholders to mitigate risks
- Assess any systematic risk concerns
Requirements:
- Minimally Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Accountancy, Finance, or similar
- Legal background highly favourable
- 2 - 3 years of working experience in financial services/physical commodities trading firm
- Understanding of Enterprise/Operational risk is a must
- Familiarity with risk management process and control framework development
- Understanding of structured/physical trade life cycle is a plus
- Analytical, meticulous, inquisitive, and possess a positive work attitude
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
