Description:
My client is looking for a model risk management audit director to lead the planning, execution and oversight of the annual audit plan by leveraging experience in designing audits of actuarial models, such as Property and Casualty (P&C), ensuring compliance with SR 11-7, ASOP 56, and other regulatory frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have experience supervising a specialized audit team with expertise across insurance and/or banking, providing technical guidance on actuarial methods and engaging in deep-dive audits of model performance and governance.
Responsibilities:
- 8 years of audit, insurance, banking, information technology or related experience
- 3 years of management experience
- Experience performing internal audits or external audits in a regulatory environment
- Expert knowledge of model governance protocols, and managing model risk effectively to align with regulatory standards
