One of our Investment Management firms in Luxembourg is currently seeking a Legal and Compliance Officer to expatriate clients on a global platform to build and create substantial client-company relationships. You will benefit from working both independently and as part of a team, serving clients by providing the best skills in the field of investment and wealth management.
As a Legal and Compliance Officer, you will be:
*Providing guidance to the Board on matters relating to good practice in corporate governance
*Suggesting guidance to the management and control functions in terms of best practices related to regulatory compliance, regulation ongoing monitoring and procedural framework accuracy including training
*Organising Board meetings
*Updating all statutory with the RCS
*Assisting the team with legal documentation and financial communication with investors and clients/suppliers
*Liaising with third party lawyers, service providers, institutional clients, regulator
*Managing complaints and litigation, liaising with external counsels
*Participating in corporate projects and product development
*Working closely with the Chief Compliance Officer and identifying and assessing compliance risks - Clients due diligence on AML/CFT
*Preparing communication with regulatory enquiries, proceedings, reporting and notifications
*Ensuring full compliance with CSSF requirements within the scope of the Risk and Compliance function
As a Legal and Compliance Officer, you should have:
*A Bachelor's degree in a relevant study (e.g. Law and Economics)
*3-5 years' experience in Banking and UCITS funds
*Contract drafting skills in the fields of CSSF for retail and private sectors
*Strong understanding of regulatory framework and compliance
*Fluency in English, French and German
