They aim to be a significant player in the market and to create a greater presence in all the major international markets. They are now looking to take on a motivated Junior trader to help their growing team in Amsterdam. With an open desk it is a great opportunity to work with a range of different products across 10 different currencies making it a great place to learn, grow and excel.
About The Role
You will become part of the Developed Markets linear IRD trading team that actively makes markets in different IRD products and in different DM currencies to both corporate and institutional customers. You will be managing the different books and contributing to the further build-out of our DM IRD franchise.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the sales team and internal and external customers in order to build good relations
- Assisting senior traders to provide accurate and swift pricing
- Carefully analysing the trading books to help senior traders with adjusting positions while optimising revenue and staying within limits at all times
- Maintain a high focus on the different DM IRD markets and generate trade ideas
- Cooperate with internal quant teams to build/improve pricing tools
- Bring up ideas to automate the sales-trading workflow
About You
The ideal candidate will ideally have some experience on a trading floor in a trading position but above all will be motivated, eager to learn and have a real positive attitude to wanting to excel.
- 1-3 years trading experience
- Located in / happy to relocate to Amsterdam
- Enthusiasm towards the role, and a positive attitude to helping an learning
- Coding knowledge would be preferential
- Good knowledge of financial markets and interest rate derivatives
