Positions have recently become available for a Junior Compliance Officer position at a boutique, fin-tech financial services organisation, based in Luxembourg with offices in Lyon. The company specialises in payments, within the domain of the EU.
This is an exiting opportunity for any candidate to work for an organisation with a modern and fresh approach; having only been recently founded in 2011. It is a payment intermediary service, that notifies banks of payment requests from their client, which it subsequently facilitates.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate/have the following qualifications and outlook:
*At least two years of experience working in compliance or a related field
*A keen interest in financial markets and new developments within this field - I.E Fin-Tech
*Previous experience working within a financial institution (2 years minimum)
*Fluent English
*Motivated, autonomous worker, able to adapt to a fast paced and fluctuating work environment
*Ability to draft policy and compliance legislation
*Ensuring compliance with group minimum standards
The candidate should also exhibit the following desirable traits:
*Conversational in French / Luxembourgisch
*Willingness to relocate to Luxembourg
*A degree in either law, economics, or other similar social sciences
*Similar experience in related industries / in dealing with legal governance related matters
*Risk management experience would be a strong asset
*Excellent communication and analytical skills
