Responsibilities
- Support general IT incident resolution and all the end user IT software and hardware during trading / dealing hours and when needed beyond, to VTB Bank (Europe) Trade Floor, Back Office functions and Senior Management
- Market data / trading / business application installation and 1st line support including Bloomberg Terminal, Deal Tracker, Reuters Eikon & FXT, BARX, Calypso, Citrix, TradeWeb, MarkitWire, FXBlotter and MS Windows/Office
- Incident resolution via VTBE IT Service Desk or through direct desk side engagement with the customer
- 1st Line Support of IPC Dealerboards and Cisco IP Telephony
- Support of Remote and Home Working
- Participate in testing new applications and hardware as required
- Day to day consultation with key stakeholders ranging from desk assistants through to Managing Directors
- Involvement in project implementation and general desk moves and changes
- Identify potential technology improvements where possible and improvements in how technology can be used to support the business
- Ensure that VTB Bank (Europe) IT policies and procedures are followed correctly and appropriately, e.g. Incident Management, Release Management, Change Management and Configuration Management
- Customer coaching on product use and associate tools
- Liaising with the Global IT functions on Infrastructure Support (including voice, networks, servers, video conferencing), Market Data Management and Business Application Support
- Participating in annual Disaster Recovery, BCP Tests, Power Downs and other Weekend Work
- Participate in Trading workplaces relocations as IT representative
- Create and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, pro-actively identifying opportunities for service improvements and internal efficiencies. Regularly deliver efficiency gains and added-value service improvements
- Provides encouragement to team members
- Assists management with hiring processes and new team member training
- Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
- Store job knowledge and experience in VTBC database (Confluence), share it with colleagues
Requirements
- A university degree in a technical field and\or equivalent qualifications or experience
- Relevant Vendor certifications desirable
- Product Knowledge and Banking Industry Experience including Trade Floor/Back Office Support with relevant experience in supporting trading floor gained at a recognized hedge fund, a bank, or a trading house
- Windows 10 & 7, Office 2010-2016 including knowledge or add-ins and macros
- Web-based trading platforms including certificate and proxy configurations
- Knowledge of Windows Active Directory
- Good working knowledge of ITIL with a strong grasp of incident / change / problem management as well as a proven ability to manage & deliver projects

- Ability to multitask and work hours required to meet deadlines (including flexibility to perform out of hours tasks and changes if required)

- Experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting end user Equipment English language mandatory, German recommended
