- Support banking IT operations and maintain production control on a daily basis.
- Managing the Bank's IT infrastructure, which includes end-user IT assets, data backup and storage systems, infrastructures for local payment systems (SWIFT, MEPS+, Paynow/Fast, etc.) and Core banking applications, as well as third-party connections.
- Follow established IT Operations policies, procedures, and processes to carry out day-to-day operations and activities in order to ensure the dependability, availability, and security of systems, services, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with an offshore team to plan and schedule resources for daily IT operations support and production control.
- Overseeing the quality of IT services offered by outsourcing partners and third-party service providers (including the offshore team)
- Assist in the management of IT-related incidents such as unanticipated outages, malfunctions, and quality decreases in IT services offered.
- Assist the IT team and relevant department(s) with the Bank's disaster recovery strategy, planning, drills, and executions
- Assist the IT team and appropriate department(s) with the Bank's disaster recovery strategy, planning, and exercises and executions.
- Assist with capability and performance management activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in IT management, project management, end-user and IT infrastructure support, and experience in banking and finance is preferable.
- Mandarin is essential because this person will be working with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work together with a variety of teams to guarantee project success
- Preferably with experience in public cloud solutions (e.g., AWS/Alibaba Cloud)
- Experience in third-party management of data centers and public cloud services is a plus
