The role will involve the following:
- Participate in the execution of equity and debt financings, sell-side M&A transactions, along with restructuring and recapitalization transactions.
- Ability to operate as project / deal team lead, driving the work product and transaction processes.
- Perform financial valuation, discounted cash flow, pro forma merger, precedent transaction, and comparable companies analyses.
- Prepare pitch books and live deal materials, including offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations, and prospectuses.
- Analyze detailed corporate and financial information, as well as conduct due diligence.
- Significant client interaction, including leading client phone calls and presenting valuation materials to clients.
- Interaction with potential buyers, including presentation of marketing materials.
- Development, training, and mentoring of analysts.
Requirements:
- An MBA and 1+ years M&A experience OR a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 3+ years as an Analyst, preferably in an M&A group
- Experience working on both buyside and sellside transactions
- Excellent financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and accounting skills / knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience managing analysts or other personnel
- Be an independent thinker and resourceful problem solver
- Strong work ethic, organizational skills and ability to manage several work streams simultaneously
- Series 63 and Series 79 preferred
