Responsibilities of the Head of Sales:
- You will primarily be responsible for selling financial cloud solutions to institutional investors, driving commercial outcomes and soliciting client feedback
- You will work closely with salespeople and product experts to manage multiple work streams and ensure timely delivery of solutions to clients
- You will provide input on go-to-market strategy and KPIs around your suite of products/services
- You will own client relationships across Europe & across the US
- You will build and leverage an internal network to ensure proper coordination and delivery of best-in-class client experiences
- You will advocate for client's needs, and will help mobilise collaboration across functions, product teams and levels of seniority within the organisation
Requirements of the Head of Sales:
- Direct hands-on experience selling risk analytics services to large financial institutions, including hedge funds and asset managers
- Robust understanding of the specialised technical and data requirements and work-flows of buy-side financial institutions
- Development, ownership and ongoing management of a complex client pipeline, driving the dialogue forwards and setting clear commercial milestones
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including experience interfacing with C-suite executives (in particular CTO and CDO personas) on the client side
- Up-to-date on relevant industry trends e.g. cloud services for financial institutions, data management and analytics, critical buy-side technologies
- Proven track record managing concurrent projects, meeting tight deadlines, working closely with key internal stakeholders, coordinating across cross-functional teams, and reporting KPIs against targets
