The candidate will be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer on the following:
- Oversee financial reporting and analysis, management accounts & audit for the group
- Manage expenses, and prepare budgets and financial planning for the group
- Manage financial and tax related matters for the fund's investment entities
- Responsible for maintenance of financial records and files for the group
- Support the group on tax, structuring, know-your-client procedures, anti-money laundering procedures, and other regulatory / compliance related matters
- Facilitate cross-functional efforts, including liaising with auditors, valuers, fund administrators, compliance advisors and other professional parties
- Have a broad understanding of the group's ongoing projects and prospective investment opportunities
- Facilitate deal team on investment management, e.g., fund formation, investment financial review, valuation, tax, compliance, structuring, financial due diligence
- Handling ad hoc projects
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant with a background working in financial services/asset management or with Big Four accounting firm
- 3-6 years relevant experience, with strong skills of capital call, KYC request, warehouse investment transfer, equalisation, cash out, and etc.
- Open minded and willing to take up new challenges
- Hands on and detail orientated (not just reviewing or supervising)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (includes Putonghua)
