Responsibilities
- Design and develop data systems, warehouses, and processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and accessibility for stakeholders.
- Implement and support comprehensive business intelligence, analytics, data warehousing, and data management solutions.
- Collaborate with IT to execute the Investments data and technology vision.
- Mentor and guide team members in data solutions, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting best practices.
- Lead the creation of Investment data sets for reporting purposes.
- Create and design reports using data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Source, transform, and integrate investment data.
- Drive projects and initiatives aligned with the Investments data strategy.
Requirements
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years in the financial or technology industry, including:
- 5+ years working with operational data stores or enterprise data warehouses.
- 5+ years in data management processes, functions, and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization software, such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with SSRS, Crystal Reports, or other reporting tools.
- Experience in report design, development, and deployment.
- Familiarity with BlackRock Solutions Aladdin, Bloomberg, MarkitEDM, or other Data Management Platforms.
- Knowledge of the Asset Management/Investments industry.
- Advanced SQL/Query skills.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Knowledge of portfolio and fixed income analytics.
