Director of Asset Management

Our client, a quickly growing real estate investment and development firm, is searching for an Director of Asset Management to join their growing team. This person will be responsible for managing the firms portfolio in the Southeast, and a great opportunity to join a industry leading firm during an inflection point of growth.
The Director of Asset Management will be responsible for:
- All asset management functions including regional and property strategic planning, property operations, portfolio budgeting and forecasting, redevelopment analysis, development underwriting and planning, and hold/sell strategy
- Lead the budget process and provide information / analysis on recommended capital projects
- Disposition of assets
- Anticipate needs of Asset Management leadership
- Ad hoc investment and asset management related work (e.g. reporting, financing activities, disposition activities, corporate initiatives)
The Director of Asset Management has the following qualifications:
- 5+ years in experience in one of the following fields: asset management or real estate operations
- Experience managing multiple asset types: focus on residential, retail, and industrial
- Bachelor degree from a top tier institution
- Excellent understanding of Excel with spreadsheet analysis experience
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to frequently travel to assets
