Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous, scalable operation for production.
- Codify and rollout shared tools and other services to enable development teams continuously deliver new features while continuously improving system availability, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Work closely with core development team and DevOps to ensure component redundancy and infrastructure capacity is in place.
- Manage Level 1 through to Level 3 production support.
Requirements
- Bsc. or above in Computer Science or related subjects.
- Exposure to SRE or Production Support within the financial industry, or similar with application s on 24/7 uptime.
- Hands on support with proficiency in Linux, Shell Scripting, Monitoring and Instrumentation tools.
Comfortable working with developer tools such as GIT, Asana, JIRA and Notion. - Ideally exposure to Node JS, Python, MariaDB/MySQL and managing automated build/deployment pipelines (e.g. GitLab, Ansible, Nomad).
- Knowledge of the FIX standard.
- Working experience in developing websites and web applications is a bonus.
