Integration Engineer (Python) - Hedge Fund
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the investment team to integrate external systems, data pipelines, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Create and maintain Python-based microservices and other technologies such as Airflow, GitHub, cloud services, databases (SQL and NoSQL), Kubernetes, and container services.
- Support the Middle Office and Operations Tech stack, including integration with third-party trade capture and position management solutions.
- Provide crucial front-line support for operational systems.
- Continuously propose and implement improvements to our tech stack.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience with API integration and external systems.
- Knowledge of data systems and orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Self-motivated with a readiness to take on additional responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or knowledge in the financial sector.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, cloud services (AWS), and containerization.
