Responsibilities:
- Serve as the expert on fair housing and fair lending laws.
- Help make risk-based decisions aligning with best practices and regulations.
- Perform periodic fair lending risk assessments.
- Stay updated on changes in fair lending regulations.
- Advocate for fair lending compliance.
- Review and provide guidance on policies and product strategies.
- Monitor compliance and reporting, evaluate remediation plans.
- Advise on compliance controls and partner with risk and compliance units.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, risk management, or equivalent experience.
- CRCM or similar certification preferred.
- 8-12 years in compliance management, focusing on fair housing and lending.
- Familiarity with data reporting and regulatory affairs.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience mentoring peers and effective leadership abilities.
